We are currently looking to recruit an experience Part Qualified Accountant for a medium size company based in Celbridge, Co Kildare

This role is offering Hybrid working, Flexible working hours, Health Insurance & Pension for the right person

This role is to take ownership of the preparation and consolidation of the management accounts, project contracts, and taxation. Responsible for financial management and administration across the business (dealing with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and project contract analysis and administration).

Key responsibilities:

Financial Accounts Preparation

  • Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts for rigorous reporting deadlines.
  • Examining accounts, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end processes.
  • Weekly and monthly cash flow reporting.
  • Budgeting and forecasting reports. 
  • Reviews of working capital are necessary to meet strict reporting targets, which include approving supplier payments and monitoring current Debtor Accounts.
  • Perform financial and pricing analyses for all services and parts to ensure adherence to cost, gross margin, and EBIT standard targets.
  • Conduct proactive analysis and reporting to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual company budgets and forecasts.
  • Preparation and filing of statutory accounts and coordination and support of the annual audit.

Project & Service Contract Administration

  • Update and upload projects and service contracts to the internal ERP system, ensuring current revisions are always maintained.
  • Monitor the implementation of project and service contracts to ensure successful delivery according to customer requirements and to achieve gross margin targets.
  • Monitoring project and service contract invoicing and client payments to ensure adequate working capital targets.
  • Take responsibility for resolving all Project and Service Contract Costing inquiries and follow up with the projects and service team.

Taxation Preparation

  • Assistance with the preparation and submission of the annual corporation tax returns, including tax settlements 
  • Preparation and submission of VAT and RCT returns.
  • Preparation and submission of Intrastat and VIES returns.

Financial Administration

  • Perform administrative duties to ensure the required efficient and effective operation of the Finance function.
  • Maintained company ERP system to ensure all data is always up-to-date.
  • Participate in company Stock Checks as required.

Suitable candidate must have following to qualify for this role:

  • Part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent education is required
  • Experience in management accounts preparation, contract analysis, and payroll and expenses administration is essential
  • Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience is a distinct advantage
  • Microsoft and Google software skills are compulsory
  • Must have excellent communication, numerical, analytical and organisational skills
  • Previous finance and payroll experience within a small to medium-sized business is preferred
  • Must have EU Passport or Stamp 4 visa

Package on offer for suitable candidate:
