We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Account Manager for our client who is an technology distributor based in Dublin South / West
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of €45k plus €12K bonus – OTE €52K
The role is Hybrid , 2 days in office 3 days WFH and will require a significant amount of account ownership to drive sales
You will be the brand ambassador and will be responsible for promoting company’s products. Your purpose will be to develop brand awareness and grow the business. The candidate will be expected to aggressively execute a quarterly business plan in order to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each given quarter. You will become expert in the product range in order to enable effective positioning of the benefits to partners within their business. You will also understand where to apply focus among a large amount of transacting resellers and identifying how to drive revenue growth via transacting, tactical and strategic channel partner relationships with the overall aim of increasing GP and significantly driving business levels.
Responsibilities:
Manage and report forecast revenue and GP on a weekly basis to hiring manager. This includes opportunity owned by the Account Manager and the sales teams.
Drive strategic business relationship with channel partners in order to position the product range within their portfolio as the leading solution for resale or within their managed services. To agree and execute a business plan with the partner where appropriate.
Keep and maintain a record of all prospects. Be a sales resource for partner identified opportunities. This could include end user meetings, web-ex presentations or telephone qualifying calls in order to fulfil key parts of the selling process where appropriate.
Maintain a consistently high level of understanding of the product range as the solution sets evolve. Work with peers within the Channel team to identify and target key partner acquisition.
Liaise with key personnel to leverage resource effectively within the organisation. This will include close engagement with the sales, marketing, technical, purchasing and finance teams.
Support and coordinate with the various Sales and Finance Departments as required
Quickly gaining a detailed understanding of the company service and product offerings will be essential
Manage price files and tools as required
Be a centre of excellence within the team for assigned technology areas
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years sales or account management experience in the telecoms or IT industry
Excellent negotiation & communication skills
Strong commercial acumen to include market knowledge, customer base, and competitor analyses
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
A team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
Full clean driving licence
